I don't know what is different since I was last active on here, but the CloudFlare protection has brought the speed of editing to a crawl. I'm not sure if this is an issue on my end, but I think it's pretty effective at killing the low barrier of entry that is critical for a successful wiki. :Its not just you. A few months back some spammer attacked the site and so bethesda staff tightened the protections. I agree with you though. These protections are punishing legitimate contributors.
