Atan - Math

Calculates the arctangent of the value it is given. The returned value is in degrees.

Syntax

float Function atan(float afValue) native global

Parameters

• afValue: The value to get the arctangent of.

Return Value

The arctangent of the passed-in value, in degrees.

Examples

float x = atan(0) ; x == 180
float y = acos(1) ; y == 45
