Editor Object Classes - Common Properties

  • ID: The editor ID which is used by the Creation Kit.
  • Name: The name as it will appear in-game.
  • Description: Used to provide a description in the inventory.
  • Weight: How heavy the object is.
  • Value: The base value in caps the item is worth to vendors.


  • World Art: The 3D Model File seen in the world.
  • Model: The Model File that will be used.
  • Icon: The Texture File that will be used.
  • Preview Transform: The Transform that is applied when this objects model is shown in the inventory menus.


  • Pickup Sound: The sound played when the object is picked up.
  • Putdown Sound: The sound played when the object is dropped.


  • Scripts: Papyrus scripts can be attached here, and their properties edited.
  • Keywords: A list of Keywords that signal information to other game systems.
