Objective[edit | edit source]

Create a very simple Sanctuary Clean-up Mod and become familiar with Creation Kit.

Materials Needed[edit | edit source]

  • Fallout 4
  • Creation Kit
Step 1, Setup
Open the Creation Kit and wait for it to fully load.
Go to File drop down and click Data...

Double click on Fallout4.esm, then click the button OK.

Wait for the Creation Kit to finish.
Go to Cell View, World Space, drop-down and select Commonweath

Wait for the Creation Kit to finish.
Go to the Cell View window and click only once in the list on the left.
Hit s on the keyboard and it should drop down to the first s which is SalemExt02.
Scroll down and double click on SanctuaryExt.

Wait for the Creation Kit to finish.
SanctuaryExt should be loaded in the Render Window.

Step 2 Deleting Unwanted Objects

Note please use caution when deleting objects, decide on what you would like to be deleted some objects are linked to other things that you may decide that you would to keep.

In the Render Window, basic movements...
Middle mouse hold and drag to pan.
Hold Shift and mouse over to turn.
Two ways to select an object
1st is to click directly on the object in the Render Window and the 2nd is to select on the objects' Editor ID on the right side of the Cell Veiw.

To delete selected object hit Delete on the keyboard.
A pop-up window will appear to Confirm
Are you sure you want to delete the selected objects?
  • No, the object will remain.

  • Yes, the object will be deleted (Can not be undone afterward).
