Editing Body Part Health and Limb Damage[edit source]

The Health Percent is the amount of health a limb has.

For example: The arm of a human has a Health Percent of 20%. Against a human with 100 HP, you would need to do 20 damage to cripple the arm. That 20 damage is also subtracted from the human's total HP. Doing 20 damage to another part of the body will obviously not affect the arm.

The Damage Mult affects how much damage an attack will do per hit (obviously).

Lowering damage required cripple and damage to total health from hits to a limb:

Let's say you have a weapon that does 10 damage per hit. You want to make it so you only need 1 hit to cripple the arm of an unarmored human with 100 health while also making it take 2x more hits to kill the human from hitting it in the arm.

If you halve the Damage Multiplier to 0.5 and quarter the Health Percent to 5%, you complete both goals. The damage multiplier lowers the weapon damage from 10 down to 5, but 5% of 100 HP is 5 HP, so it all works out. --Noahdvs (talk) 2016-05-09T20:22:23 (EDT)
