Counter Effect Bug[edit source]

A bug occurs when entries are added to the Counter Effects list. If I add one entry and then save, then reopen it there will be two entries. I can even delete these two and when I reopen it again it will have 4 entries. If I continue it will be 8 entries then 16 entries and so on until the plugin can no longer load in the CK anymore. The entries are duplicated exponentially every time the effect is opened leading to corruption. At the point of corruption I can still load the plugin in FO4Edit but the application crashes when this Magic Effect is selected. The entire Magic Effect must be deleted and recreated to fix this when an entry is added to the counter effect.

Okay, I tinkered with it some more and it doesnt seem to duplicate exponentially. The amount of duplication seems to be random or based on factors I dont understand. Scrivener07 (talk) 2017-04-04T17:38:26 (EDT)

Peak Value Modifier[edit source]

If using Peak Value Modifier, leave Assoc. Item 2 as "NONE". In Skyrim, this is used as a dispel effect. However, this feature is bugged in Fallout 4. Filling in this value causes freezes (not crashes) when magic effect is active.

Found and tested by eclix and alegendv1.
